MTN Street Soccer: Bolowotan, Dynamic advance to next stage

AS the 2008 MTN Lagos Street Soccer Champions enters the second week, Fellers FC, Dynamic FC and Bolowotan Academy have qualified for the second stage of the competition.

To qualify from Alimosho local government, Fellers defeated Get Dirty FC 2-0, and also Covenant FC 2-0 and drew 1-1 with Dynamic FC as Dynamic defeated Covenant 1-0, drew 0-0 with Get Dirty FC while its match against Fellers FC ended a goal apiece to garner five points.

At Ita-Elewa play ground, Ikorodu FC, Bolowotan and Agarawu FC moved to the next stage of the competition as well as Aro Football Club.

To qualify, Bolowotan FC had six points from three matches followed by Aro FC which also garnered six points from three matches but Bolowotan FC topped the group with 13 goals advantage. Agarawu FC picked the group A ticket through walk-over as all the teams in the group from Imota failed to show up.

Speaking with Tribunesports, Coordinator, Tade Azeez commended the teams and officials at Ikorodu zone for their cooperation and successful organisation of event saying “others should emulate them.”
